The 4th Online Education Innovation Camp held from 1st to 14th November 2021 has successfully concluded with students participants who are from AIT’s partner universities in the Philippines, Thailand and Bangladesh namely – the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP), Thammasat University (TU), King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) Thailand and Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR), Bangladesh, respectively. They came from diverse backgrounds such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Communication Engineering, Robotics and AI, Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics. Aside from the main output presentation of their mini projects, students were also given some challenging exercises and assignments such as “Create Your Own Video Resume” and “Noise Pollution Mapping in their Communities” through crowdsourcing Geo-App, they were tasked to create their own resume for job application. Students were ignited by brainstorming sessions to think of innovation technologies for their mini project activity. The students showed great enthusiasm in accomplishing all the given tasks. The presentation of a mini-project on innovative ideas by the participants to come up with new innovative ideas coming from the students which is inspiring to the organizing committee seeing their enthusiasm to learn new knowledge, innovate solutions to challenges, and inspire others of what can be gained when joining the Education Camp at the Asian Institute of Technology. Before awarding of certificates and announcing of winners of different exercises and activities, students were also given the opportunity to share their experiences and take aways during the 14-days online event, from the new learning experiences, to the new skills they gained and to new friends and network they obtained.
